Stage AI Beta: Fix that lawn with one click

From room makeovers to sky changes, this app is smart, simple and fast

It’s fair to say that virtual staging is one of the most eagerly adopted AI applications in real estate, and I’ve reviewed some of them previously here on aipoweredagents.com.

Gone are the days when you had to lug actual furniture into a space to see if it works*.

We’re getting closer and closer to the ‘heavy lifting’ happening digitally with just a few clicks.

A new AI Stager caught my attention today in the Product Hunt Leaderboard Newsletter, and as we have done a “tool of the day,” I thought I’d give it a spin.

What’s In The Box?

Stager.ai’s marketing says it is “trusted by real estate agents to stage their photos to sell their properties for more,” but I don’t know… that sounds a little like it’s a goal for the future.

But it drew me in, and my first impressions were that it was so simple anyone could use it, from an Airbnb host to a regular human doing renos (it would have been a bit of a game changer for us when we were doing Cypress).

But this one is a little different:

  • Want to see what a new wall colour would look like? It’s a one-button click.

  • Want to see if you can fix that patch of lawn with no grass? One button click.

  • What about fixing the sky or changing to twilight? Same.

I decided to turn the camera on and record my initial impressions of stager.ai in this video:

(Note: I cut some of the wait times in this video, but the image generation was pretty quick!)

In this video, you’ll see that I also tried the magic eraser and furniture placements—some things worked better than others.

As with other stagers, the straight-angled rooms gave a better result than my weird-angled garage photos (the app I tested below gave a better result).

Overall, Stager.AI could be a handy tool for anyone interested in virtual staging or image enhancements.

Some features, like the lawn replacement, worked perfectly, while others, like the garage makeover, had a few hiccups. So it’s not quite pro-level yet, but it’s doing a lot right for a beta.

I’m curious to see how it evolves, but for now, if you need a quick touch-up on your home listing photos or want to try an AI home staging app without too much commitment, Stage AI is worth a play.

Happy Hunting 🚀

*what I’d really love is an app that can stage the furniture you own and tell you whether or not the house is a fit.
