Supercharge real estate checklist creation with AI

Over here at EA HQ, we stumbled upon a game-changing feature in Loom this week that's got us all buzzing with excitement.

If you're like me and constantly create videos for work or tutorials, I’m betting that you, too, will love this.

I've been a Loom fan for ages, using it to demonstrate all sorts of things. But yesterday, I found a new feature that takes the Loom “Demo” to new levels: Loom AI Workflows.

In today’s quick tip video, I’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we’ve been using AI to supercharge our SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) creation.

Once you have created your step by step walkthrough or video, here’s what you can do:

1. AI-generated summaries

This feature has existed for a while, but it is still worth mentioning how Loom automatically creates summaries and chapter markers for your videos. It is very handy if it is something you are going to upload to YouTube!

2. Document creation options

If you choose “Write a Document” from the Loom AI menu, you’ll be able to choose from three different types of documents: SOP, Step-by-step guide, and PR description. Each serves a different purpose, so you've got flexibility.

A real winner, I think, is the “copy text” button on the bottom right of each document type; if you use something like Notion, which we do, you can copy everything, and you’ll get the copy and pasted text plus the video, for easy filing and retrieval.

Of course, you need to check the AI’s summary (The models are improving, but it’s STILL always a first draft!)

The other thing I would be mindful of is don’t record videos with personal details or private information, as the transcript is summarised by ChatGPT and retained by OpenAI for 30 days (according to Loom’s FAQ).
