Strategies for defining your target market with ChatGPT

"The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing." - Tom Fishburne

In an industry like real estate that thrives on networking and relationships, your marketing strategies are everything.

So today, in our series of recaps (whilst we are away at Elite Retreat), we focus on some key marketing strategies with a focus on defining your target market supercharged by ChatGPT.

I only have one piece of advice on this series of blog posts, and that is everyone wants to market to as many people as possible; but if you don’t define your target market, it’s:

a) Hard to appeal to everyone (so you end up appealing to no-one!)

b) Almost impossible to create messaging that can cut through.

Of course, once you are successful in a niche, you can expand that to include other things.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at probably the most successful real estate agent right now in Australia: Josh Tesolin used to be the “duplex” guy; now, he is pretty much the everything guy.

So today, we’re going to look at supercharging:

  • Finding your competitor’s weaknesses

  • Defining your ideal customer

  • Mind-mapping their problems (so you can talk to them in your marketing)

Enjoy!
