Had one of those lightbulb moments this morning.
You know the type - when you wake up at 4 am and think, “I need to go test something in ChatGPT like now.” (OK, I know that is probably just me…)
Well, my "what if" involved pulling out my credit card and signing up for OpenAI's Pro subscription. At $200 US ($300 AUD) a month, it's not cheap, but someone had to test it out. Might as well be me, right?
What I discovered in the next 30 minutes was a bit like the day I first started testing ChatGPT and thought my job was over.
With all the talk about Deep Research, I decided to send my assistant off into the ether to a) book me on the best day tour of Rome possible and b) find the best real estate agent to sell a unit in Broadbeach Waters.
For the tour of Rome, I also needed to go one step further and install a VPN and pretend I was sitting in San Francisco, but you’ll have to watch the video for that story.
What you need to know about both of those scenarios is this:
Not only did the robot go hunting through several websites to pull together a very detailed report imaginable that would have taken me hours to compile manually.
Here's the kicker - and this is where you might want to put down your coffee - this isn't some far-off tech prediction. It could happen now now.
As I write this, potential vendors can ask an AI to research, compare and shortlist real estate agents in their area. And trust me, it's thorough. We're talking sales histories, reviews, response times, fees, marketing approaches - the lot.
The fascinating bit? Some agents kept popping up in these AI recommendations while others were nowhere to be found. And it's not random - it’s starting to appear like there is some science about who gets a mention.
Want to know what separates the agents who show up from those who don't? And more importantly, how do you ensure you're in the first group? And how to be chosen before the consumer goes to ChatGPT to compare agents
I’ve created a 30-minute detailed lesson and posted it in our community - free for everyone. But - after three days, I’m moving it to the Premium Subscriber Vault.
I figure if you’re serious about this - you’ll take a look now while it’s available. If you’re too busy… well, you know what I will say to that. But actually ChatGPT o1 says it best:
In the near future, many consumers first point of contact with a real estate agent will be a conversation they'll have with an AI assistant. By ensuring your online presence is professional, consistent, and filled with relevant and positive client experiences, you position yourself to be top of mind for these AI driven recommendations.
Here’s a highlight reel:
Full post in the community for three days here. Then it goes into the Premium Subscriber Vault.
Happy hunting 🚀
