Dream job

"Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation" - Zig Ziglar

What a time to be alive.

There’s a new headline in AI (actually, many of them!) every day right now, and today, this one on Business Insider caught my eye:

ChatGPT experience may be able to get you that job. More than 90% of potential employers are looking for workers who use the chatbot.

This isn’t too much of a surprise, as if you can get the skill of prompting right then ChatGPT is a huge time saver.

Here’s the TLDR of this article (as it’s my inspo for today’s prompt)

  • 91% of companies want to hire workers who know ChatGPT, per a new ResumeBuilder study.

  • Business leaders say the AI chatbot can boost productivity, save resources, and offer support.

  • A career expert urges job seekers to include ChatGPT experience on their resumes and cover letters.

If you don’t believe it, here’s a Gen Z perspective: My 21-year-old daughter Amy, already refers to ChatGPT, as ‘The PA’ (which I actually think is kinda cute - given a PA is something, when I was her age, that I could only dream I might have one day when I was really successful like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl.)

Today’s Prompt of the Day

In The Leadership Diaries - over on Elevate, a common question I ask leaders in the real estate industry is, “What is your favourite question to ask someone in a job interview, and what does it tell you about them…”

Here’s a new ChatGPT-inspired version:

What questions should I ask a property manager in a job interview to determine whether or not they can be efficient with incorporating chatgpt into their workflows?

And… here’s the response:

When interviewing property managers to assess their ability to efficiently incorporate ChatGPT into their workflows, you should focus on their experience with technology, adaptability, and understanding of the benefits that ChatGPT can bring to their role.

Here are some questions you can ask:

1. What is your experience with using AI-based tools or chatbots in your property management role? Can you provide examples of how you have successfully used them in the past?

2. Are you familiar with ChatGPT? If so, how do you see it benefiting your responsibilities?

3. How comfortable are you with learning and adapting to new technology? Can you share a situation where you had to quickly learn and utilize new software or tools for your job?

4. In your opinion, what are the key aspects of communication between property managers and tenants that can be improved by using ChatGPT?

5. How would you incorporate ChatGPT into your daily workflow to enhance your efficiency in handling tasks such as responding to tenant inquiries, coordinating maintenance, and managing leasing documentation?

6. How would you use ChatGPT to streamline communication with other team members, vendors, and contractors?

7. Can you think of any potential challenges in implementing ChatGPT within your property management role? How would you overcome them?

8. How would you stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates to ChatGPT to ensure you're utilizing it to its full potential?

9. In what ways do you think ChatGPT could help reduce response time to tenant inquiries and improve overall tenant satisfaction?

10. How would you measure the success of incorporating ChatGPT into your property management workflows, and what key performance indicators (KPIs) would you use to track its effectiveness?

We will definitely be exploring points 4-9 in Transform beginning May 2.

Happy hunting 🚀 (and happy weekend!)

Do you have a friend or colleague that might find these real estate prompts helpful? I would really love it if you would share far and wide :)
